The Critical Care Cardiology Education Summit (CCCES) 2024 will be held on May 29 – May 31, 2024, near the University of Minnesota – East Bank campus. This is the second annual national educational summit for critical care cardiology.

In 2023, CCCES addressed pressing issues related to reducing mortality in cardiogenic shock, pulmonary embolism, and cardiac arrest. It brought together expert faculty and thought leaders in critical care cardiology from across the country to share and teach about their experiences in critical care cardiology. CCCES’ continued goal is to develop a workforce of critical care-trained cardiologists armed with a robust understanding of the literature and technical skills to shape this new field of cardiology.

CCCES will continue with a combination of small group exercises, hands-on procedural skills practice and discussions on topics pertinent to patient care. In addition, CCCES 2024 will have a special focus on adult congenital cardiac critical care.
