Course 4: Parasitic Infections


This course prepares physicians and other health care providers to diagnose and treat people with parasitic infections.

This course enables you to:

  • Recognize the epidemiology, pathophysiology, clinical presentation, and diagnosis and treatment of under-represented tropical infectious parasitic diseases.

This course is composed of six sections:

  1. Neglected Tropical Diseases
  2. Malaria
  3. Other Protozoa
  4. Nematodes, Cestodes, and Trematodes
  5. Insect and Vector-Borne Diseases
  6. Clinical Case Vignettes
