This course prepares physicians and other health care providers to practice medicine during disaster response and in settings with limited resources.

This course enables you to:

  • Explain a framework for providing culturally-competent health care during disaster response and in resource-limited settings.
  • Improve expertise in clinical care in low-resource settings including short-term relief work.

This course is composed of five sections:

  1. Disaster Relief
  2. Medical Relief Missions
  3. Clinical Medicine In Resource Limited Settings
  4. Pediatrics in Resource Limited Settings
  5. OB/GYN in Resource Limited Settings
