Join us with Dr. Salmaan Keshavjee as he unpacks the influence of neoliberal economics on global health. Trained as a physician-anthropologist, Salmaan will use work from his recent book Blind Spot: How Neoliberalism Infiltrated Global Health to lead us into a provocative conversation on how and who determines value in global health delivery, the structural forces that influence health and well-being in communities around the world, and strategies to promote health equity by confronting neoliberal narratives and assumptions.

Salmaan Keshavjee, MD, PhD, ScM, is the Director of Harvard Medical School's Center for Global Health Delivery—Dubai. He is a leading expert in drug-resistant tuberculosis treatment and the anthropology of health policy. He is the author of Blind Spot: How neoliberalism infiltrated global health.
