Vascular Medicine, Quality Outcomes and Population Health

About Us

The Vascular Medicine, Quality Outcomes and Population Health section was established in 1990 by the recruitment of Dr. Alan T. Hirsch from the Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School. Over a 25 year period, the program has been recognized as one of the premier clinical and academic vascular programs in the nation. With the participation of three faculty members, dedicated research scientists, and nursing leaders, the triple goals of the Department of Medicine and Academic Health Center are supported: The program provides world class clinical care, promotes vascular clinical research, and is dedicated to improving vascular post-graduate medical education.
