My academic career commenced in Ben-Gurion University of the Negev where I completed my B.Sc and M.Sc degrees in Prof. Amir Sagi laboratory. The research subject during my masters degree was the role of gastrolith Calcium binding proteins and protein-protein interactions in fresh water crayfish. During my Phd at the Weizmann Institute os Science in Dr. Jacob Hanna Laboratory, I focused on embryonic and induced pluripotent stem cells in different species by delineating the epigenetic landscape and their ability to contribute and differentiate in inter-species chimeras.
