Summary

Dr. Kyuhyun "K" Wang was born in Korea and graduated from the Seoul National University College of Medicine. Following initial internal medicine training at the Mount Sinai Hospital (Minneapolis, Minnesota), Dr. Wang completed medicine and cardiology fellowships at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Wang is an experienced and accomplished teacher. He won 15 teacher of the year awards from students, residents and cardiology fellows. From 1978-1988, he served as the director of medical education for the Minneapolis Mount Sinai Hospital's residency program. In 1988 he joined the Hennepin County Medical Center, where he practiced cardiology and educated physicians in training for 20 years, including Hennepin County Medical Center residents and University of Minnesota general-cardiology fellows. Dr. Wang joined the University of Minnesota Physicians clinical practice in 2008.
