Dr. Robert Hebbel of the Department of Medicine Hematology, Oncology and Transplantation Division has just been announced as the 2014 winner of the American Society of Hematology (ASH) Ernest Beutler Lectureship. This is one of the highest honors bestowed by the Society and reflects his long scientific career studying the biology of Sickle Cell Disease. We are proud of Bob's wonderful scientific accomplishments and pleased that he has been given this high honor. ASH Press Release
